Yes, it’s the iTunes competitor ‘Sony Online Services’ re-launched. This time with global ambitions. It includes Video On Demand with exclusive content from Lionsgate MGM, NBC Universal, 20th century fox, Sony pictures, Paramount Pictures and Warner Brothres. Qriosity will have millions of songs by the end of the year and includes all you can eat flat fee subscriptions. Books and Games are to be added later. Sony’s Qriosity is being rolled out right now, with much of the EU done this autumn. Qriosity is included in the internet connected Bravia TV’s and new Sony Blu-Ray players. It will be released as a software update for older Blu-Ray players and is scheduled to appear in the Playstations 3 network (for PS3 and PSP). Yummie!
